Marko Unger joined


Marko joined Starry in 2025 as Chief Executive Officer. Markoโ€™s appointment marks an important milestone in the group restructuring establishing one unified organization across all business units. Marko is a seasoned leader with more than two decades of experience in the automotive, appliance, and manufacturing industries, spanning Europe, Asia, and North America. Marko holds degrees in Engineering Management and Mechanical Engineering.

Establishing Starry Vietnam


In 2026, Starry expanded into Vietnam by establishing its first integrated manufacturing facility near Ho Chi Min City, marking a significant new chapter in Starryโ€™s development. The fast-growing Vietnam campus reflects Starryโ€™s continued investment in geographic diversification, providing customers with greater flexibility, stability, and resilience across global supply chains. Building on more than 25 years of know-how, this facility combines a broad range of capabilities in enabling a broad range of product combinations and manufacturing solutions, supporting both current programs and future innovation.

Gilad Reshef joined


Gilad joined Starry Group in 2023 as Global Sales Leader and has been based in Hong Kong for 16 years. Prior to Starry Group, he led global sales at Nano Dimension, focusing on additive manufacturing and advanced 3D printing technologies, and drove international market expansion across Asia, Europe, and the US. He holds an LLB in Law from Ono College in Israel.

Ram Maskalchi joined


Ram joined Starry Group in 2019 as a Director, overseeing finance, legal, and strategic matters across the Group. Ram supports senior management on structuring, governance, and key decision-making processes. Previously, Ram spent 11 years at PwC in Israel and Hong Kong, advising clients across tax, accounting and corporate finance. Ram is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelorโ€™s degree in finance and accounting from the College of Management, Israel.

Establishing Noatex Myanmar


Established in 2017 in Yangon, Myanmar, Noatex produces sewn products combining competitive production economics with professional, CSR-aligned operations. Designed to meet the requirements of demanding global customers, the facility supports technically advanced sewn-product manufacturing within a developing-market environment. Built on a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus, Noatex benefits from Starryโ€™s more than two decades of experience in technical sewn-product development and production. This integration enables customers to access cost-efficient manufacturing while maintaining the quality, reliability, and operational standards associated with Starry.

Establishing Tetro Metal Factory


Established In 2013, Tetro expanded its range of in-house production capabilities with the establishment of the Tetro Metal Factory in Dongguan, China. Adding to Tetroโ€™s existing capabilities in plastic infection and assembly, this facility incorporates aluminum extrusion and anodizing, CNC machining, robotic welding and various mechanical metal processing and surface-finishing technologies. This broadened set of manufacturing disciplines strengthens the Groupโ€™s ability to deliver high-performance, multi-material products with superior quality, weight-optimized designs, and efficient production cycles.

Establishing Starry Guangxi


Established in 2012 in Guangxi, China, to expand sewn-product manufacturing capacity and support growing customer demand. The site strengthened the Starryโ€™s regional production footprint while maintaining consistent quality and operational standards.

Assaf Ben Raphael joined


Assaf joined Starry in 2010 as a Process Manager within our textile operations, later serving in various key operational roles, including Production Manager. During his tenure, Assaf was instrumental in expanding the group’s footprint, establishing the Starry Guangxi China factory, and later founding Noatex Myanmar production facility in 2017. Assaf currently is the Country Manager for Vietnam. Assaf holds a BBA degree in Economics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Israel.

Ilan Ben Meir joined


Ilan joined the group in 2008 as a director and general manager of Tetro, where he led the development of the groupโ€™s manufacturing capabilities in plastic injection and metal processing, with a strong focus on innovative materials and advanced manufacturing techniques. Today, Ilan serves as a director of the group, overseeing innovation and technical solutions for our customers. Ilan is a qualified engineer, holding a material and mechanical engineering degree from the Technion โ€“ Israel Institute of Technology.

Establishing Olitex


Established in 2008 in Dongguan, China, Oli-Tex specializes in the development and production of technically advanced consumer and professional sewn goods. Its portfolio includes professional tool bags, sewn products for the juvenile industry, and other consumer sewn products, serving global brands with demanding quality and performance requirements. Oli-Tex combines an experienced development team with advanced machinery and digital tools to support efficient, high-quality manufacturing. Innovation is embedded in Oli-Texโ€™s approach to product development. Working closely with customersโ€™ design and engineering teams, its R&D function supports projects from early concept through prototyping and refinement, advising on materials, construction methods, and functional enhancements to meet both technical and commercial objectives.

Alon Sagiv joined


Alon joined Starry in 2007, beginning his career in product development and development management, where he was involved in hands-on product work and cross-functional coordination. In 2012, he assumed leadership of Olitex, guiding its development as part of the groupโ€™s textile platform. His role expanded in line with the groupโ€™s growth, and today his leadership spans all Starryโ€™s textile production activities including China, Myanmar, and Vietnam contributing to their operational continuity, capability development, and long-term evolution. Alon holds a BA in East Asian Studies.

Foundation of Tetro


Founded in 2007, Tetro is a global OEM partner for high-end consumer products. Current major product categories include juvenile gear (strollers and car seats) and mobility scooters. From its beginning, Tetro developed integrated product development and a range of manufacturing capabilities that support customers from concept to mass production, combining engineering excellence with advanced technologies and state-of-the-art facilities. Over time, Tetro expanded its scope serving leading international brands with tailored solutions that balance innovation, quality, and efficiency, reflecting both its heritage and the broader evolution of Starry.

Benny Braunshtain joined


Benny joined Starry in 2006 and as a director and General Manager of the textile operations. With more than 25 years of manufacturing experience, Benny brought deep operational and technical expertise to Starry following an early career at Motorola in Israel and the establishment and management of a state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing facility in China. An electronics engineer by training, with an EMBA from Ivey Business School in Canada, Bennyโ€™s role evolved alongside Starryโ€™s growth, and today his focus reflects oversight of textile production across the different locations, contributing experience and continuity at the group level.


In 2003, Starry transitioned to its first permanent manufacturing facility in Shenzhen, China. This move marked an important step in the Groupโ€™s development, enabling expanded production capacity and the establishment of more structured operations to support growing customer demand.


In 1999, Brian and Menachem began by producing school bags in a temporary facility with less than 200 employees. The goal was to create a company focused on bringing exceptional contract manufacturing professionalism and reliability to the Far East where it was, in those days, quite uncommon.

Brian Dlugash


A founder and director of Starry, Brian Dlugash shaped the Groupโ€™s foundations from its early days through its growth into a global manufacturing platform. With a background in finance and manufacturingโ€”including a masterโ€™s degree from The Wharton School and early career experience as a Certified Public Accountant in the United Statesโ€”Brian established Starryโ€™s strategic, financial, and governance bedrock. Brian continues to oversee the Groupโ€™s long-term direction and structural matters as the organization evolves and leadership responsibilities broaden across the management team.

Menachem Winfield


Menachem Winfield is a founder and director of Starry and has driven the development of its manufacturing capabilities and market presence. Drawing on more than 40 years of industry experience, Menachem has been deeply involved in product development, production, and business growth, particularly in Starryโ€™s earlier phases. Menachem remains closely connected to the business, leading strategic discussions and providing continuity and perspective as the Group advances under an increasingly broad and empowered leadership structure.
